Virtual Therapy Policies & Fee Disclosures

All virtual therapy sessions are conducted in a secure environment, ensuring that your privacy is maintained at all times. I only share information with your consent or if legally required. Telehealth (Virtual Therapy) Policy
◉ All Counseling & Coaching Services will be through a secure, HIPAA compliant telehealth link.
◉ Telehealth can be done anywhere that you have a private space without interruptions. Clients can have sessions on work breaks, at home, school, basically; any space that is located within the state of Pennsylvania.
◉ Please Note - A requirement of telehealth services through the state licensing board mandates that a client be in the state of Pennsylvania at the time of service.
◉ The location you are in for each telehealth service must be shared with your Clinician in the event of a medical emergency or safety concerns during session.
◉ Telehealth services are professional counseling sessions and should be treated that way. Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Please do not complete other tasks while in session or have people stopping by while in session. If there are issues that come up in session with inappropriate boundaries or behaviors, the session will be canceled, and the full fee will be charged at that time.
Standard Session Fees
I offer a free 15-minute phone call if needed, offering you the opportunity to make sure I am the right fit for you and your needs. Please use my online form to request your free consultation.
Private Pay Rate:
$150 per 53-60 minute individual telehealth therapy or coaching session.
In-Network Insurance:
Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles are determined by your specific policy. I am an in-network provider for Highmark BCBS, IBX, and Independence Administrators.
Payment Processing:
All major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards are accepted. Payments are processed securely via a HIPAA-compliant portal at the time of your session.
Cancelation & Attendance Policy:
A consistent commitment to therapy is vital for progress. Please be advised that any session cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice (even when with insurance) will result in a late-cancellation fee billed to the credit card on file.
Out-of-State Telehealth Regulations
To comply with state licensing laws, you must be physically located within the state of Pennsylvania at the time of our virtual session.
To ensure a seamless start to our work together, please note the following:
Verification: Coverage and benefits must be verified prior to our first session. Intake forms allow for uploading of insurance card and information to create seamless eligibly verification.
Payments: Clients are responsible for all applicable co-pays, which are collected at the time of service.
◉ I am considered an Out of Network Provider for most insurance companies. I offer clients a Super Bill that can be turned into your insurance company with billing codes which may assist you in getting a reimbursement from your insurance company. The best practice would be to call your insurance company and inquire about what your insurance policy allows for with Out of Network Providers (OON). Please be sure to share that you will be receiving your services over telehealth.
◉ Intake paperwork and consents must be signed before your 1st session. Paperwork will be found in your simple practice portal after your appointment is booked. When your appointment is booked, you will receive a link to set up your HIPAA compliant portal that only you have access to.
◉ A credit card will be required to book all appointments and that can be done in your portal.
